Yarrawarra Aboriginal Cultural Centre is nestled in an amazing diverse and rich environment. The bird life, animals and plants abound and invite you to walk among them. To help you really understand the beauty of what you are seeing we can offer bush tucker, tasting and cultural tours, weaving the traditions of our people and the history of this land into the landscapes of flora and fauna allowing you to experience our natural landscapes in a way that you will never forget.
Bring a picnic and sit in our peaceful surrounds, grabbing a great coffee and cake from the Bush Tucker Cafe or even shout the family to one of our delicious kangaroo or crocodile pies. Browse the gallery and read the stories in our "Keeping Place". If you are lucky someone might pick up a Yidaki and roll out a tune or you may be lucky enough to catch one of our regional artists painting on site.
Schools, Probus Clubs, Rotary Clubs, Bird watchers and other groups can obtain special group packages designed for their specific needs and interests by our friendly and professional staff. Maybe you would like to lean about the local Aboriginal culture? Learn how to weave native grasses and have a delicious morning tea? We offer a wide range of cultural activities, from bush tucker & medicine walks, traditional weaving, painting, boomerang painting and throwing, ceramics and even traditional cultural healing practices.
